who Am I?
Hi, I'm Edel
I’m a Melbourne photographer, creative, primary teacher and professional hype person, drawn to people, personality and all the wonderfully messy bits that make life interesting.
I photograph people, families, children, brands and events — basically, anything involving good people, big energy and a story worth telling.
I love that no two days are the same, and photography feels like the perfect job because I get to do what I love most: make people feel good about themselves.
Hate having your photo taken?
Same.
For years, I was much happier being the person behind the camera than the person in front of it (still am).
So I get it. Having someone point a camera at you can feel a little… daunting.
Which is why I’m not here to make you stand awkwardly, stare down the lens and pretend to be someone you’re not.
Stiff poses and acting like someone else are SO LAST CENTURY.
Instead, I’ll hype you up, make you laugh, give you some direction when you need it, and let you be completely yourself when you don’t.
My job is to make you feel comfortable enough to forget about the camera — and then capture you the way I see you: in the very best light.
